About the NCEES FS exam
The NCEES Fundamentals of Surveying (FS) exam is the first of two exams required for professional land surveyor licensure in most U.S. states. It's a 6-hour, 110-question computer-based test covering 7 knowledge areas: mathematics, basic sciences, surveying practices, measurements, plane survey computations, spatial data acquisition, and plans, boundary and land use.
It's rigorous. Azimuth Prep is built specifically for this exam — not a generic quiz engine with surveying questions bolted on, and not a textbook in app form. When you switch exams, the new exam's content replaces the old one in the app. You can always switch back when you're ready. Beta testers will be invited to set that pricing with us.
